Yesterday evening on our way back to our cabin rental in the Wasilla/Palmer area, we drove around Chugiak a little bit. That's a nice area. We found one of the Municipality of Anchorage's many parks. This one is called Beach Lake Park just down the road from Chugiak High School. It offers "Barrier Free Recreation" with boardwalks out to a fishing dock and some lodging cabins and a bathroom house. Alicia decided to scare the fish away by making a dash into the water before Daddy could get her! She's small... but quick!

Today we took a Sunday drive up to the Matanuska Glacier and had lunch at the Long Rifle Lodge. Good cheeseburgers if you're in the area. It's been a beautiful couple of days. Blue skies, temps in the upper 60's lower 70's. Perfect.

We're back in Anchorage now at the original B&B. I have to work tomorrow and then will have the 4th of July off.
