House Purchase and Picnic

We are now the proud new owners of the house on the bluff.

We closed Tuesday afternoon. The situation was mildly bizarre, but it's a done deal. We're now working on moving our things to the new home by the end of the month.

I've put the first coat of pale pink paint on Alicia's bedroom walls. I'll be painting the master bedroom a light green shade. Other than that, we're not doing any major changes at this point.

I baked my first chocolate cake in the new oven (brand new!) last night. Came out super! I brought it to work for the June birthdays.

Speaking of work, we had our 2008 Picnic in the Park Strip today. I'm in charge of both the December and June Section Meetings. So the December one is the holiday party and the June one is the Picnic. We invite other neighboring work units to join us during these "team building" events. Today's picnic went really well.
