Cold Snap...
Two and a half more minutes of daylight today. But who's counting?
The temperature was 6 degrees F when I woke up this morning. I believe we're expecting a high in the low teens today. A little nippy. But since we're not really standing around in it, it has minimal effect on us.
Tess has basketball practice this morning and then needs to be driven to her friend's house down near the Eagle River Nature Center to work on a school project. This is the last weekend of Christmas Break. I think I'll be taking one or both of the teens to the mall today to spend any gift cards they got for Christmas prior to returning to the fashion show known nationally as "high school".
We had Tess babysit Alicia May for us last night when we went out to dinner and a movie. We tried Johann's restaurant in Eagle River for the first time. One of my colleagues recommended it. We were not disappointed! Then we went to see Charlie Wilson's War. Again, not disappointed...
