Southbound Lane

We're headed south to Homer for the weekend. I have a meeting tomorrow down there and Alicia will travel with me. Stephen will join us on the Harley later in the evening.

We've reserved the Wildflower Cabin at Seaside Farms. This is an actual farm overlooking the ocean which was homesteaded back in the 40's, I believe. It's owned now by Mossy Pilcher who is descended from the original homesteaders as well as the aunt of Jewel (the singer).

Homer is basically Alaska's only "beach town". It is a mecca for travelers and fisherman from all over the world. We have yet to make it down there. It lies at the end of the road on the Kenai Peninsula.
