Belated Update!
Oh gosh! It's been a long time since my last post! Whoops!
Well, here's the thing. I've been busy.
At this point, I feel like I have 2 full time jobs: making maps by day and cakes by night.
Here's the latest creation of the latter:
That one's actually a "dummy cake". No, not stupid. Styrofoam! It's going to be on display in the party room of the new Regal Stadium 16 movie theater in Anchorage.
Tess is working at that sparkling new theater. It's very nice. They have an IMAX, the only one in Alaska.
Alicia is on the homeward stretch of preschool. Yesterday, we picked out her new lunchbox and backpack for kindergarten. She's starting to get excited about the prospect of elementary school. She'll be in the Spanish immersion program, which is pretty cool.
We've bought Tess's airline ticket to leave for college at the end of the summer. I'll be accompanying her for the "move-in" weekend at Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio at the very end of August.
Donald is back in Alaska and has been for the past month. He is going to investigate joining the military tomorrow by paying a visit to our local recruiting office.

Hello, So good to hear what's going on in everyones lives. Not crazy about facebook, and thinking of getting off of it?? Cake even though a dummy is ingenious. What branch is Donald going into??

Not sure which branch yet. I think he took his ASVAB this afternoon with the Army recruiters....
Excellent cake! That will look great in the new theater. I'm glad to hear the cake business is taking off. Hopefully, you can make it your full time job because you enjoy it so much. :o)
